- Indigestion (Dyspepsia)
- SYMPTOMS while or after eating may include heartburn, upper abdominal pain,
- nausea, feelings of being full, belching, stomach distention and flatulence.
- CAUSES may be from a disease in the intestines, stomach or elsewhere. It
- usually involves no organic disorder. It may be caused by rapid eating,
- eating gas-forming foods, swallowing excessive air, overeating or eating
- while emotionally upset.
- TREATMENT. If no underlying disorder, a balanced diet may be required.
